She makes sure you are fully informed of all options and helps you to make the educated decision that is best for you and your family. You feel that you are listened to, and you never feel that you are in the dark about any decision. During labor and birth Alison does her best to be who you need her to be, while ensuring that both mom and baby are safe. After the birth, Alison stays as long as she is needed, sometimes even overnight (as she did for my daughter) in order to ensure that both mom and baby are healthy and stable. The first few postpartum visits happen at your home, making the immediate postpartum period much easier than traditional in office visits. Choosing Alison to be our midwife was the best decision we made for pre/postnatal care and birth."

I moved from NY where I had my first homebirth and couldn’t imagine finding new midwives to replicate the same amazing homebirth I had the first time. But then I found Heidi and Alison. They make an amazing team and sincerely care about their clients. They made me feel extremely supported and cared for from the first meet and greet till still now at 10 weeks postpartum. I took my toddler to all my appointments and they welcomed him each time. They even welcomed him at the birth and during our postpartum visits. They addressed all my concerns and honored all my wishes from the beginning till the end. Now that I’ve finished my care with them I miss seeing them regularly.
